I'm thankful for veterans on Veteran's Day.
Not too many parades today.
Not too many schools get the day off. It would just be a play day, anyway.
I'm sorry that armed service is ever necessary, but history has some pretty convincing examples.
And I feel a debt of gratitude for veterans. There are a few veterans in my family.
Today I just want to say thanks.
